Personnel change in the management of Kuhn Special Steel

Mark Vierbaum takes over from Andre Kuhn as spokesman for the management of Kuhn Special Steel and Kuhn Zerspanungstechnik for the operational business. Continue reading

Since 01 June 2021, the management of Kuhn Special Steel has been in the hands of Mark Vierbaum, who joined the company on this date as a very experienced managing director. He works closely with Dr Heiko Brauckhoff, who continues to be responsible for sales.

In the long term, Andre Kuhn, as a shareholder and spokesman for the management of Kuhn Industrie Holding, will focus even more on innovations in the area of market development, technology and organisation for all companies in the group.

Mark VierbaumMark Vierbaum first gained experience in large-scale casting after studying foundry technology. His next professional post took him to the quality department at Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte, where he took over responsibility for the iron foundry at an early stage. Due to his successes, the steel casting side was subsequently added to his remit. Most recently, Mark Vierbaum had overall responsibility as the sole managing director for two foundries with up to 600 employees. As a proven expert, Mark Vierbaum is also active in professional circles and chairs two standardisation committees at German and European level.More importantly for us, he brings excellent human credentials. With the change in management, we remain true to our attitude, our values and our strategic orientation and are creating the necessary conditions for long-term corporate success.
