As a result, BMS Steel AS´ business merged into the new joint venture BMS Kuhn Steel AS.
The head office of the company, which has emerged from a foundry founded in 1915, is located in Klepp Stasjon, near the city of Stavanger on the west coast of Norway. BKS provides corrosion-, heat- and wear-resistant, pre-machined and ready-to-install stainless steel components. Like many other Norwegian companies, BKS is active mainly in the offshore sector and enjoys an excellent reputation as a reliable, flexible and fast supplier of high-quality stainless steel components. We are convinced that BKS Kuhn Steel as a family-owned medium-sized company with a long-term strategy fits very well with us. By building our NORSOK-compliant heat-treatment plant last year, we had already taken an important step to break through into the market segment “Oil & Gas”, which is relatively new for us. As a company that has been operating successfully in this field for many years, BKS will be a great support to us. Jointly we will expand the existing strengths and grow in the oil and gas market.
