Kuhn Special Steel’s colourful summer fair

It is held, in addition to the classic end-of-year party, every two years at the company’s premises in Radevormwald, Germany.
Organised around the motto Kuhnterbunter Jahrmarkt, which roughly translates as “Kuhn’s colourful summer fair”, the event offered a varied programme of delights for young and old alike. The long list of 
attractions included, alongside the ever-popular site tours, a bicycle “wall of death”, a chain carousel, a balloon sculptor and stilt walkers, plus crate climbing, an art workshop and face painting for the event’s younger visitors. Typical fairground fare was also available in abundance, in the form of candy floss, popcorn and waffles.
Our summer fair has for many years culminated in a donation to a good cause, and this was likewise the case this year, as more than 35 of our suppliers and business partners contributed gifts or financial support for our charity raffle. Kuhn Special Steel topped up the resulting sum of €1,590 to €2,000 for donation to Radevormwalder Kinder- & Jugendring e.V., a local charity dedicated to helping children and young people, which was likewise present at the fair with its mobile play space. We would like to thank all donors and supporters, and also the organisers of and visitors to this great summer festival, for their valuable contributions to such a good cause.
