Andre Kuhn (in the centre) continues to be responsible, as board spokesman, for the area of production, with Dr Heiko Brauckhoff (on the right) in charge of sales. Dr Thorsten Minuth (on the left) has held responsibility since March for Kuhn Special Steel’s commercial management.
Dr Minuth (born in 1972) possesses many years’ experience of dealing with the commercial aspects of corporate groups and medium-sized businesses. After completing his degree in business administration, he initially worked for ten years, both in Germany and elsewhere, for a major pharmaceuticals group. This period also saw him obtain a doctorate in business organisation and management from Berlin’s Technical University, while at the same time pursuing his professional career.
Dr Minuth then changed track to become active in the medium-sized sector. He joined our sister company M. Jürgensen as a commercial manager in 2008, and soon became a member of the board with additional responsibility for maintenance, materials management and quality assurance.
As the board member in charge of finance at Kuhn Industrie Holding GmbH, he will be taking on responsibility for commercial management at both Kuhn Special Steel and M. Jürgensen, thereby enhancing our management team with his expertise and experience in both the development and day-to-day running of commercial operations. We can already confidently confirm, on the basis of cooperation to date, that his personality and values-based approach are fully compatible with Kuhn Special Steel.
We offer Dr Minuth a warm welcome, and wish him great success with the tasks and challenges that lie ahead, while looking forward to successful joint cooperation in this respect.
