This verification of suitability involved 124 laboratories based in 23 different countries; 86 of them with certification to EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

Verification of suitability involved two tests; each involving the three hardness-comparison plates with different levels of hardness (20 HRC, 50 HRC and 65 HRC) and the material sample. The participants have all recently received the evaluation of their results: 85% of them passed the test successfully.
