21,000 Euros for child and youth welfare

It entails asking our business partners to make a donation at Christmas, instead of sending gifts. The idea has been very well received, and this year’s initiative enjoyed the participation of 55 suppliers and other business partners. One particularly positive point is the fact that many of them have provided support for several years running. The list includes the Radevormwald municipal services organisation, which was the year’s biggest individual donor once again, this time with a sum of €1,500.00. This has helped us to reach a total of €10,375.00. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for these generous donations, and we are looking forward to putting the money donated to good use!

Assistance for children and young people is a cause that has always been important to Kuhn Special Steel, and the donations will contribute to providing targeted regional help in this respect.Therefore, we are doubling the final amount collected, thereby allowing a grand total of €21,000.00 to be distributed this year. This happy outcome has resulted in no fewer than fourteen nursery schools in and around Radevormwald receiving €1,500.00 each. This will in turn allow them to undertake special initiatives and plan investments that would have otherwise not been possible. There are already plenty of ideas on how to use the money, and we look forward to receiving corresponding news from the beneficiaries in the course of the year.
